Microsoft has quietly released an update to the very popular Windows Live Messenger. This version includes a re-vamped interface which is more customizable along with better parental controls. Parents are now able to set up rules regarding signing in and adding of contacts to help you control your teens chat use (although your teen probably knows all your passwords and how to bypass any locks you have on your computer).
After testing, it shows to be stable and the new graphics make it worth the download if you’re into that sort of thing. Otherwise, this new beta doesn’t add much more to the user experience…. cough *vista* cough.
