Apple has done it again, today they announced a new line up iMacs, iPods and Apple iSoftware. The new iPod Nano is yet again smaller and boosts new enhancements such as:
- 65 percent brighter display
- Video support!
- 6.5mm thin
- Nike+ support
- Enhanced Interface
- 24 hour music playback or 5 hour video playback
- and more
As always the Nano comes in a variety of colors with either 4gb or 8gb’s of flash memory and starts at $149.
Apple has also officialy announced a new iPod, the iPod Touch which is basically an iPhone without the phone. The iPod Touch is loaded with new features:
- WiFi built in for surfing the web or downloading songs directly from iTunes store
- Touchscreen
- 3.5 inch Widescreen
- 8 or 16gb flash drives
- No Nike+ Support
- and more
The Apple store lists the iPod Touch as being not compatiable with Nike+ which is sad news for all us Nike+ owners. I see no reason why Nike+ couldn’t be supported as the new iPod Touch is flash based and compact, maybe they will be releasing Nike+ 2.0 for the new touch screen… one can only dream.
