This is an amazing use of existing technologies merged with the human power of Amazon Mechanical Turk. Amazon has team up with several organizations; detailed satellite imagery has been made available for his last known whereabouts.
Users are asked to review the satellite imagery and tag images with foreign objects for further review by authorities. For those of you that don’t know on Monday, September 3, 2007, Steve Fossett, the first person to fly a plane around the world without refueling and the first person to fly around the world in a balloon went missing in Nevada. An airplane he was flying failed to return. To see how it works check out the sample images below:

Yeah I see it - they have been finding lots of previously unknown plane crash sites since they started this…

Good find.

let me know yo.
May the Force be with him.
What was one-way range and last known heading of his aircraft?
No one really knows, he didn’t file a flight plan and didn’t say exactly where he was going.

I’ve done an Empathic reading using a photo of Steve Fossett, before his plane crashed he changed his course a little bit to find a safe landing area but couldn’t find anything safe enough. He has injured his head/neck plus he was knocked out on inpact. It’s hard to say right now if he’s alive or not, I really hope he’s alive.
i think fosset will be found but i wish some positive imformation will surface one month of surviving in a hostile enviroment is asking a lot i cant help but wonder if he was injured if so his chances are not good i can only hope and pray that some good news will surface and his family and friends can find peace
i think it would be helpful if more photos were available to analize.i am curious of the photo that shows the aircraft i thought the tech abilities of satilites could show images a lot smaller then the ones on display i dont know if the locations of these photos on this web page have been forwarded to persons who have the equipment to better resolve what we are looking at all anyone can do is make a guess from what is being presented i hope to see more.
From another reading that I did on his photo, the plane should be near an area that would be kind of safe to land a small plane. He’s not that far from where he started from.
no word yet? how something can vanish without a trace is hard to understand,i am speaking of an area that has not to this date giving any concrete evidence of the location of fossets plane no matter what condition it is in.it is hard to hope given the facts or lack thereof so the answer is we keep looking,and looking with better equipment and sharper resolution and keep hopeing in the end thats all we can do.
i feel disbelief that no word of fossets plane or anything concrete has surfaced given the remote location of the search area hope is all thats left pray its all we need.
